Anthony’s professional focus for the last 6 years has been to bring advanced analytics and machine learning approaches into businesses, to help them make smarter and more nimble decisions. The deep interest that he has for data science began during his PhD in Applied Math at Northwestern University, in Chicago, and carried forward as a Research Fellow in Theoretical Geophysics at the University of Cambridge. When he left academics at the end of 2013 to begin working for Palantir Technologies in New York, Anthony was immediately opened up to the enormous opportunities for applying maths and scientific rigour to business. After 3 years in New York, he moved to Dublin with his wife Claire. Shortly after, he began working at Conjura, an early stage start-up based in Dublin, where he is currently the Head of Data Science.
