Dr Jennifer Cassidy

Studied History and Political Science at Trinity College and went on to read for a Masters in Global Governance and Diplomacy at Oxford University.  Her PhD was on digital diplomacy. After TCD, Dr Cassidy went to work as a political attache to Ireland’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. She has also worked for the European External Action Service and was based in Phnom Penh as part of the EU delegation to the Kingdom of Cambodia and was monitoring Human Rights issues in that country.  She is a firm believer in the TEDx talks and the concept of bringing together the leading thinkers of our time and engaging with the public on ideas worth spreading.  She worked on two TEDx Conferences in New York and directed one in Phnom Penh.
