Jessie Dolliver, 22, is a Trinity scholar in Botany and an environmental activist. She was born in Melbourne, Australia, and was raised in Cork city. She recently graduated from her undergraduate degree and is beginning a research masters in September focusing on seaweed ecology. She has been the chair of Trinity’s Environmental and Botanical societies, the editor of Trinity New’s Science and Technology section, and co-founded the activist groups: the All Ireland Student Activist Network, Fossil Free TCD, Not Here Not Anywhere, and Aramark Off Our Campus. She has worked as a research assistant in the Plant Sciences department of Cambridge and the Environmental Research Institute in Cork. She is passionate about the planet and the people who live on it.
