Professor Mary Daly

Mary E. Daly is Emeritus Professor of History at University College Dublin (UCD). She served as President of the Royal Irish Academy from 2014-2017.  She is a member of the expert advisory group on the Decade of Centenaries and the commission of investigation into mother and baby homes. Publications include Sixties Ireland: reshaping the economy, state and society, 1957-1973,(2016).  She is editor of Brokering the Good Friday Agreement, the personal accounts of senior Irish public officials, to be published in September 2019 by the Royal Irish Academy
